“Eruvin - Halacha L’Maaseh”

Learn to Apply Hilchos Eruvin — in Just 10 Sessions!

Know with confidence whether the eruv in your community is kosher!

Learn how to apply your halachic knowledge to build and inspect an eruv!

Gain extensive knowledge in another area of Torah!

Are you a community or city Rav? Gain the peace of mind that your community is not being nichshal in Hilchos Shabbos — while giving the public the zechus of a reliable eruv!

The course provides an in-depth presentation of the sources for practical Hilchos Eruvin – including material that does not appear in the Shulchan Aruch or Mishnah Berurah.

You will also learn the practical side of Hilchos Eruvin: what everything looks like in the field, and all the knowledge required to inspect and repair an eruv according to the way eruvin are built today.

The course brings together a decade of knowledge and experience, along with insights gained from inspecting dozens of different eruvin in Israel and around the world.

Want to Hear More?

The Eruv KeHalacha Course was created to bridge the gap between learning Hilchos Eruvin and applying them in practice.

Rabbanim and avreichim who had studied Hilchos Eruvin found it difficult to translate the written material into practical application. The course includes real-life photographs, videos and demonstrations of the practical side of Hilchos Eruvin.

By the end of the course, you will have the tools to inspect an eruv, build an eruv and repair problems in an eruv.

Most importantly, you’ll have peace of mind, knowing your eruv is kosher and reliable.

Important! > There is no way to maintain a kosher eruv unless those responsible for it receive practical training!

Questions & Answers

I’m a community Rav, and as far as I understand, our eruv is kosher. Why do I need this course?

In our experience, more than 90% of the eruvin we inspected were found to be invalid, even though they were regularly inspected by the local Rav and eruv inspector — primarily due to a lack of practical knowledge.

You can pay in 10 installments - just ₪75 per month - for the only course of its kind in the world.

Learning Hilchos Eruvin without completing the practical side remains entirely theoretical. When the need arises to inspect the eruv where you live or are staying, or to establish an eruv at a vacation rental, it will be difficult - if not impossible - to do so without the knowledge gained in this course. In addition, it is only when you encounter the practical side that you truly understand what the halacha is teaching!

Absolutely! Eruvin outside Israel face no fewer challenges than those in Israel. You can join the practical tour when you come to visit Israel.

Absolutely. You’ll also learn how to find qualified people to make the necessary repairs and how to supervise their work.

Some communities pay approximately ₪1,500–2,000 per month, and an inspector can work with several communities.
Unfortunately, many municipalities pay far too little.
We are working to raise awareness of the importance of properly compensating eruv inspectors.

Still Not sure?
We Have an Offer for You!

If, after completing the course, you feel that you did not receive value equal to your investment, or that the course did not teach you anything new, you may request a full refund up to two months after receiving your certificate.

The Course Is Taught by the Institute’s Rabbanim:

Nice to Meet You

Avraham Rinat
Chairman of the Eruv KeHalacha Institute

Married and a father of five, a graduate of Yeshivas Chevron, with Rav Moshav certification and a master’s degree in Bible Studies.

I first studied Hilchos Eruvin in a Halacha Kollel during the early years of my marriage. While inspecting the eruv in the moshav where I lived, I discovered just how great the gap is between theoretical halachic knowledge and its practical application — and how difficult it is to master on your own.

I joined Rabbi Menachem Moskowitz, one of the world’s leading experts in Eruvin, and spent several years learning the practical expertise of eruvin from him. For approximately five years, this involved tremendous effort, hands-on work and extensive travel throughout Israel.

Today, I provide professional guidance and consultation for dozens of eruvin in Israel and around the world.

I share all of this knowledge together with Rabbi Benayahu Shendorf in the “Eruv KeHalacha” Course — a one-of-a-kind course that makes accessible practical knowledge that simply cannot be learned without expert instruction and hands-on demonstration.

Nice to Meet You

Benayahu Shendorf
Rav at the Eruv KeHalacha Institute

Born in Jerusalem and currently residing in Harasha.

Studied at Yeshivas Mercaz HaRav. He holds Yoreh Yoreh semicha and certification to serve as a city Rav.

He studied practical psak under Rabbi Eitan Eisman and Rabbi Avraham Tzvi HaKohen.

Certified mohel by the Chief Rabbinate.

Supervisor of eruvin and mikvaos.

R”M at Yeshivas Halachta in Nachliel.
