The Eruv KeHalacha Institute was established to make the world of eruv accessible to every Jewish community in Israel and around the world
Our goal is to address the challenges of eruv construction and ensure that every Jewish community can properly observe Shabbos, through comprehensive and strategic planning.
Our extensive halachic and practical knowledge enables us to find professional solutions to the challenges involved in building an eruv — anywhere in the world, today and for years to come.
The Institute was founded by Rabbi Avraham Rinat, an expert in the field of eruvin. Over the course of more than a decade, he inspected hundreds of eruvin in Israel and around the world, and came to recognize a clear need for a single professional organization that could provide comprehensive support in the field.

The Institute promotes greater awareness of eruvin across various media, while providing accessible information, literature, and approved equipment. It also provides eruv kashrus certificates, an eruv database, and certification for Rabbanim and eruv inspectors.
The Institute is highly regarded and endorsed by leading Rabbanim, and is widely accepted by Poskim and community leaders in Israel and around the world.
The vision of the Eruv KeHalacha Institute is to establish the eruv as a professional field in its own right
To give the Shabbos eruv the recognition it deserves and raise awareness — by providing Rabbanim and inspectors with practical knowledge, and encouraging the public to ask whether a reliable eruv is available.
To establish more permanent eruvin in cities, neighborhoods, hotels and military bases, with ongoing supervision to ensure they remain kosher long after they are built.
To create a comprehensive database and knowledge center bringing together everything needed in the field of "Eruv Shabbos".

Projects We Have Completed
Maoz Tzur
Maoz Tzur is a new community in the Binyamin region.
Approximately 25 eruv poles were installed, and along one section, eruv wires were strung using existing utility poles.
The project was carried out in cooperation with the Binyamin Regional Council and Amana.
Elkana
In Elkana, the institute’s team established a new eruv.
The eruv is based on the separation barrier surrounding Elkana on three sides, while 25 poles enclose the open side.
The eruv also includes Mitzpe HaGvura.
Sha’arei Tikva
Etz Efraim
The Etz Efraim eruv is part of a single eruv that also includes Elkana and Sha’arei Tikva.
The eruv is based primarily on the separation barrier, together with an eruv line consisting of 25 poles, which also includes Mitzpe HaGvura.
